UKW51.Ukrainian sleeve patch for the 95th Separate Assault Brigade. Based in Zhytomyr. The brigade was created as the 95th training center, and later reformed into a brigade. In the spring of 2014, it was among the first to be raised to repel Russian invasion. Units of the brigade took part in the battles for Sloviansk, and later in various areas of the front in eastern Ukraine. In July-August 2014, a unit of the brigade carried out a multi-kilometer raid on the enemy’s rear. Since 2016, the brigade has been reformed into an airborne assault brigade and received a tank unit.
