Commissioned in 1973 into the Northern Fleet, K-447 was a strategic missile submarine carrying 12 R-29 nuclear SLBMs.
Named Kislovodsk in 1998, it holds the distinction of being the longest-serving Delta I-class submarine in naval history
before its decommissioning in March 2004.
