B213.Russian badge for the same Pacific Fleet nuclear attack submarine K-419, now bearing its current name “Kuzbass” Akula-I class.
Following its 1998 renaming from Morzh (“Walrus”) to Kuzbass, this second version of the badge was struck to reflect the
vessel’s updated patron name. Based at Kamchatka with the Pacific Fleet, Kuzbass completed an extensive multi-year
overhaul in 2016 and returned to operational service as a primary SSN asset in the region.
