B199.Russian badge for the Akula-Class Nuclear Attack Submarine K-263, Dolphin. Laid down at Amur Shipyard
in Komsomolsk-on-Amur in May 1985, launched in May 1986, and commissioned into the Pacific Fleet in December 1987.
Originally commissioned simply as K-263, it was officially given the name Delfin (“Dolphin”) in April 1993,
which it carried until it was later renamed Barnaul in 2002 after establishing city sponsorship.
