Description
B19.Russian para wing for members of the 83rd Separate Airborne brigade. Originally formed in 1986
in Białogard, Poland (Group of Soviet Forces in Poland), the 83rd Brigade was relocated to Ussuriysk
in the Far Eastern Military District in 1990. It is a major rapid-deployment formation historically assigned to
Eastern Military District operations and now integrated directly into the Russian VDV command structure.
