of the Russian Pacific Fleet, based out of Vladivosto. Tracing its lineage back to WWII and reorganized into the 55th Naval
Infantry Division during the Cold War, this Vladivostok-based unit adopted the Amur Tiger as its official heraldic symbol
reflecting its home station in the Russian Far East. The unit was later reorganized into the
155th Separate Naval Infantry Brigade.
